New Palestine Indiana
Visitors to Indianapolis can make the short, 15-mile drive east on U.S. 52/Brookville Road to see New Palestine, Indiana. Just west of Greenfield, this small agricultural community boasts several unique businesses such as the Round the Corner Pub and Frosty Boy Drive-In. Café 52 and Rock Star Hair were local sites chosen to film portions of the January 2, 2008 episode of ABC’s reality series “Wife Swap”. Several local residents are employed by the Southern Hancock School Corporation, Fifth Third Bank, Greenfield Banking Company, and many other mainstream retail locations.
Annual celebrations in New Palestine include the New Palestine
Parade and Fourth of July Festival, as well as the New Palestine Lions Club Fall Festival and Annual Fish Fry.
